News > Underground Shoe Shockers
Date 20/1/2008
It's hard not to notice shoes when sitting on the London Underground. You may find yourself admiring the heel on a Carvela or contemplating how comfy those Uggs look.
The five we've selected are styles of dubious taste that we think might NOT catch on. But hey- that's just our opinion. Please have the final say on our message board.
Revenge of the Yeti Boots
Opinion is divided about these boots- some love them, some hate them. All I know is they must need a lot of grooming and probably shed more hair than my dog!
If you like them we found a similar style on sale at Yoox but unfortunately not quite as furry. They're by Viktor & Rolf and are currently reduced from £354 to £178- bargain!
Nice Boots but Wrong Jeans
Great boots, especially love the heel, but they're let down by the style of jeans.
If you are a boot addict then try Yoox. There are some fantastic price reductions at the moment. It's also well worth checking out Kurt Geiger.
Fame is Back
Anyone of a certain age will remember this style from the cult TV show Fame. It's fine if dry (and at the dance studio) but avoid any muddy puddles on the way.
Fans of the canvas trainer should try these that we've found at Cloggs.
Not Fluffy Pink Fans
Personal opinion but not pink fluffy boot fan. They're fine indoors but just don't look right outside.
Should go for Uggs. One of our favourite retailers Sarah Coggles has a wonderful selection of Uggs. Or try Cloggs and Kurt Geiger.
Colour and Combat
Like her style but the choice of high top trainers and long socks just don't go with combat shorts.
Cloggs have some fantastic high top trainers but unfortunately not the Adidas brand seen in this photo.
