Created as a clothing company for consumers in the Italian Alps in 1911, Fila eventually branched into underwear then sportswear at the beginning of the 1970’s. Made famous as a worldwide brand by the renowned Tennis player, Bjorn Borg, Fila has continued to raise its profile with sports endorsements. The company changed ownership in 2003 and is now a South Korean brand, and has continued to grow as a global brand.
Fila place great emphasis on design, quality and innovation. Having produced clothing for elite athletes and general sports participants, they have recently branched out into fashion-inspired golf and mountain wear. The company are also involved in various fashion-sportswear collaborations and celebrity profiles. Fila products are available worldwide in sports retailers, department stores and online.
