A global sportswear brand for men, women and children - Adidas ranges have both athletically functional and street styled sportswear. Recent brand collaborations with high-end designers have created a niche market for the brand in luxury sportswear.
Designer and visionary Adi Dassler, brought the brand into being over 75 years ago with the creation of sportswear featuring an iconic three stripe logo. The German company has grown to become the second largest sportswear manufacturer on the planet.
A prolific sponsor of both celebrities and world-class sports teams such as the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team, the Adidas trefoil stripe logo had become indelible in the sports landscape.
Recent brand developments have included collaborations with Y-3 and Stella McCartney – taking sportswear to a new level of design, functionality and style. Another offshoot of the brand is Adidas Originals – the designers have taken classic Adidas silhouettes and given them a new, reworked and modern edge.
